Choices. They are the signposts which separate the line of our lives. Time stretches behind as it stretches ahead, full of branchings, each choice a new verse. Each verse a fully-formed existence. But they can be recursive. They can draw back to each other, magnetized by the attraction of like to like, repelled by that of unlike to unlike. 

So exists the Scion of the Book. 

All verses have a Scion, until the Scion super-positions and becomes one.
