Dear Friends today is my birthday!!
I have many reasons to celebrate and one of the main ones is that my dream of becoming a published author will become true on November 8th, and that is thanks to all of you.
Because it is my birthday, I want to ask you for a small present. Don’t worry it won’t cost you a penny. I want you to please log into your Inkshares account and follow the project for my second novel Worlds Walker.
Worlds Walker is the second book in The Catcher’s Trap trilogy, which I’m currently writing. My vision for this second book is exploring the darkest side of human nature. The first book was all about the evil magical creatures from The Mist and the horrors that human slaves had to endure. I want the second book to speak about our own capacity for cruelty and the idea that humans are not only victims or heroes, we are also aggressors.
I will continue working on this draft while uploading chapters and sharing content with you.
My plan is to launch the actual campaign on April 20th, 2017. Yup, you heard right. A year from today, on my birthday, I will be reaching out to all of you for support, so World Walker can become a reality.
Thanks again and have a drink on my behalf!
My dear sentients!
We are four days from the funding campaign for A God in the Shed being over. As I write this there are only 14 copies left of the 750 needed to fund. This is good news for me as the writer, obviously, and for those who have pre-ordered as they will get their signed and numbered copies with all the other perks.
The bad news is for those who haven’t ordered.
Judging from my experience with The Life Engineered, only the 750 who pre-order will get their copies signed and numbered. I might still try to sneak in a bookmark or signed print into other copies but that’s not a guarantee. Also, only readers who pre-order during the funding campaign have a chance to win the ’privilege’ of dying in the book. In effigy of course. I’m not actually murdering readers and magically infusing their essence into my books. Don’t believe the rumours.
This means that even with 4 days left to the campaign this might be your very last chance to pre-order A God in the Shed and benefit from all the perks. If you’ve been waiting for the last minute to get your signed and numbered copy with a bookmark and a chance to have a character modelled after you die in the story then this is IT. This is the last minute (Figuratively. You still have a few hours, maybe a day or two.). I hate to be the guy to say that ’supplies are running out!’ but each day I’m shocked at how quickly copies are getting ordered. There’s a very real possibility that this is the last day of this campaign.
So yeah... I thought you might want to know that. Also; tell your friends. Just in case I’m wrong.
Thanks again for the amazing support friends. Because of you I get to go through the process of editing another one of my book. Slowly, my dream of being a writer is becoming reality.

Hiya hexers,
I’ve made some progress on the concept art for Soulblade, I have still been getting my head around Corel painter and my new Wacom tablet with all the new brushes that I haven’t been able to get with my bog standard Photoshop CS2.
While it has been over a week since my last update, I wanted to let you know of a project that’s very close to it full funding goal (29 pre-orders away ladies and gentlemen) and with only a few days remaining I wish to express how much this book should really get it full publishing.
Check it out: A God in the Shed by J-F Dubeau is a Fantasy/Horror story set in the forgettably small village of St-Ferdinand, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. The villagers have been hiding terrible secret for generations, but when their mysterious captive escapes but gets inadvertently trapped in the McKenzy’s backyard shed, it’s up to the Venus and her friends to figure out how to dispose of this terrible and malevolent burden; an Old God of hate and death.
You can find out more about this dark and beautiful, read sample chapters, reviews and pre-order you copy of A God in the Shed by visiting: www.inkshares.com/books/a-god-in-the-shed
You can listen to the prologue as read by Ageless author Paul Inman here: youtu.be/XJw5oZhqtXo
Need more incentive?
• Each pre-order enters you into the ‘I want to kill a reader’ raffle. The winner will have his name and likeness used in the book as a minor character that gets killed off. The author will work with the winner to find the appropriate means of demise to satisfy both the winner and the story.
• Each physical copy of A God in the Shed will be signed and numbered as an exclusive first edition item.
• Free, exclusive A God in the Shed bookmarks will be included with the physical copies and mailed to eBook supporters.
• Orders of three or more copies guarantees your name to appear in the Patrons list printed at the end of the book.
• You get to enjoy the satisfaction and pride at having supported both art and literature.
Including today, we have six days left to fund this project.
All right, Dax fans, LISTEN UP! This is Commander Dax Harrison himself speaking.
Hello Friends
This is a special update to talk about someone other than me.
There’s a project that’s nearing its funding goal that I’d like to bring your attention to. It still needs a little over 125 pre-orders to get full funding on Inkshares. I think it’s worth your attention and by supporting it you also get awesome perks! (read till the end to find out)
