David Inglehart sent an update for Near the Borderline

With a week to go and 190 orders short of the mark, it’s time to announce Last Call on the NEAR THE BORDERLINE campaign. I’ve spread notices on Facebook and had some print exposure, but have seen very little in the way of comments, reviews, or referrals in the Inkshares space, where the all-important word-of-mouth sales are made.

One final strategy is in the works: I have a number of Russian acquaintances with advanced computing skills, and well... ’nuff said for now.

Whatever happens, thanks again for your support, and I’ll keep you posted on the fate of the book.

A very engaging start to what promises to be a timely and richly textured account of the bygone Soviet era.
Everything is Normal: The Life and Times of a Soviet Kid
One eventful middle-class childhood behind the Iron Curtain in Soviet Leningrad. A mix of a fun memoir and social history of the years preceding the collapse of the USSR. (The book is finished.)

A coming-of-age story grounded in traumatic, criminal events: how suffering arson culminated in my becoming an artist.
