James Rasile liked an update for Welcome to Deadland

Whoops, when I sent that update I messed up with embedding the video! Trying this again.

;;

If that still didn’t work, it can be viewed here on YouTube, and is also on Welcome to Deadland’s Inkshares page.

Sorry about that!

James Rasile liked an update for The Pirates of Montana

Addendum! I’ve updated my name on my project page. When I entered the contest, there was already an author named Erin (check out Farm Boy- amazing!!), so I used my initials so we could avoid confusion. But frankly, I love my name, so it’s now in use.

May the 4th be with you!

I hope you were able to spend today with that special nerd/geek in your life and celebrate one of the greatest Space Operas ever created. For me, it was hanging with this little guy (see picture below). My daughter flat out refused to be in the picture. Oh toddlers.

Dinosaurs, Calvin and Hobbs, Star Wars. It was a good day.

Lots happening on the book front!! We have a lot of new followers, and I want to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! We really appreciate it! I think you’ll enjoy what’s coming next week!

The Warbler did a wonderful piece about the book. See it here: http://goo.gl/xXGtQf

One thought before I sign off.

Hemingway once said, "there is nothing to writing, just sit behind a typewriter and bleed." I’m starting to really understand that now.

My hat is off to every single author on this site. You are amazing.

Writing is hard. Invest in some good band-aides.

James Rasile liked an update for Beyond The Code

        Greetings you wonderful people,

HOLY PRE-ORDERS BATMAN!! Look at them all roll in. Thank you all soooooo very much for really getting behind Beyond the Code and helping push it to Quill. I am finding it difficult to truly express how much all your support really means to me. Just WOW!!

But we’re not done yet. We are only a tiny 14 orders away from Quill. It’s literally just around the corner. If you love this book and really want to see it in print pre-order today. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your enemies, TELL EVERYONE!! A signed first edition book is a great gift or maybe you have some extra credits around and you want some good karma. Any reason is a good one at this point.

Again thank you soo much for all the support in making my dream of Beyond the Code in print. We can do this!

PS: Sorry to be a pain, but I totally forgot to mention in my first update today that I reconfigured the chapters that are available on the Inkshares page. They should be in order now. If you happen to check the page and see that they’re not, would you mind letting me know? Either comment on this update or tweet to me @RH_Webster.

          Thanks again, all of you.

James Rasile liked the forum thread, Credits no longer need to be claimed?
Hey! I just saw $10 in credits appear instantly on my account, without me having had to click the "claim" button on the credit notice email. Is this how it’s going to work from now on? I’d have to go update my reader’s guide if so.

This would be much easier for the new readers we bring to the system, I can tell you. No further need to confuse them with the "how-to" of claiming credits! No more scaring them away with the same! Just send them in, say "you get $5 off your first purchase", and yay.
