James Rasile sent an update for Cape’s Side Bay

      Hello people of inkshares!

A big heartfelt thank you. I’m so pleased with the way things are going with Cape’s Side, and it’s all because of you. I cannot stop smiling, and that’s awesome!

As of this writing we are 4 orders shy of 150 which would bring us 100 away from Quill!

The weekend is FINALLY here! We should celebrate, I think a pre-order party is a good idea! Let’s all recommend Cape’s Side Bay to a friend, family, loved one, or perfect stranger.

Some of you are reading this update thinking “I don’t know about pre-ordering…” And I get it. I’ve been there. Been there several times. Let me tell you there are at least a dozen books I wished I backed when I had a chance here on Inkshares, but I didn’t for one reason or another. Don’t miss out on pre-ordering Cape’s Side because you aren’t sure, it’s a risk, but I’m willing to bet in the grand scheme of things it’s a small risk, and one you’ll be happy you took once said and done.

OK, that’s all. Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend.

      - James

I’m gonna go watch Gremlins 2: The New Batch just because.

Also pre-order Scribbles: A Collection of Words by Tabi Card. 8 days remaining 97 orders to go!

62 days left for To Live and Die in Avalon by Jason Chestnut. This book is awesome and you need to check it out.

Christopher Huang’s Murder at the Veterans Club is 14 away from Quill as of writing this. It’s fantastic.

      So many good ones!!!

James Rasile liked an update for Mission 51

Mission 51 has reached an early milestone, with 83, or one-third of the 250 pre-orders required for the book to be published! A sincere thank you to everyone who has helped get us this far!

I ask the Mission 51 followers who have not yet pre-ordered the book to please pre-order now, and help get us past the 100 mark, which would be another great milestone!

        Peace and love to all!

        Ferd. :-)

James Rasile liked an update for Women Like Us

Hey Trusty Women Like Us Followers--

Happy Friday, and I thought, since it’s been a while, I’d update on where we are on what looks like will be a July 26th publication date. The last couple of weeks have mostly been about my going through the final copy edit of the manuscript. To give you an idea of how much work is involved, take a look at this!

Pretty much every page is covered in notes! A special shout-out to the fine folks at Girl Friday Productions -- these are the people who are doing the nuts and bolts production of the book, and it’s a fascinating process. Meanwhile, any questions I may have are answered promptly and thoroughly. I think these guys are just as committed to putting out the best book possible as I am, and I am very grateful for the work they’ve done so far -- even if there’s still a ways to go.

What else is happening? Well, cover design is pretty much done, except for...wait for it...blurbs! Two fine, upstanding authors for whom I have the utmost respect have agreed to give blurbs for the book cover, and I can’t wait to share them with you, so stay tuned for that.

But wait, there’s more!! I have also been busy creating a new author website, the book itself is up for pre-order on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads and, I believe, ibooks as well. Plus I have a Goodreads author page. All of these are still somewhat under construction, so I wouldn’t go check them out yet, but soon!!

Next week I will be turning the manuscript back in, so that will be it for making any edits and changes, which is kind of scary, but I guess at some point it’s time to just let go. Then it will be getting down to business on a lot of marketing issues. Whew. Ok, that’s a lot, huh? So hope everybody has a great Friday, and a great weekend too.
