HUMATUA is a story I have been working on since I was 10 years old. I work as an engineer now, but I still often find myself writing a few pages whenever I can. I never thought I would get anywhere with it.
Until recently, when I wrote a few more pages and realized I had a complete first draft. I have worked on typing it and cleaning it up.
I realized quickly it is very mechanical written (like I said I’m an engineer). It would probably make a better screen play, since most of my influences are movies or TV. However, I’d always pictured it as a book.
So, if you can get through it, I appreciate any feedback. My biggest concern is what I am trying to portray is not clear, so I drastically overwrite what is happening.
