C. Brennecke liked the forum thread, New Syndicate: The Idiosyncraticate
Hey folks, I decided to start up a syndicate. It seemed like a fun thing to do, and also, I felt Inkshares might benefit from having a place where authors of "etc" kinds of projects (humor, quirky, oddball, whatever) could plead for some syndicate support. Though it also bears mentioning that any project that could reasonably qualify for the other syndicates’ backing is welcome here as well. I’m just looking for some unsung heroes to boost, and I don’t wish to step on the toes of any of the other new syndicates that are still recruiting members.

Anyway, here’s the description:

A syndicate championing unsung projects (in any genre), as well as those that may not necessarily dabble in Inkshares’ more popular genres. Here’s to the crazy ones, as that old computer commercial’s saying goes. Looking especially for humor, quirky, autobiographical or just plain oddball projects to support, but unheralded projects in need of a boost in the fantasy, sci-fi, thriller and other popular genres will not be turned away from consideration.

Feedback (and of course, memberships) warmly welcome.

Hi @J. L. Maynor! I would highly recommend checking out canva.com. They specifically dabble in assisting with the creation of cover art. It helps set up dimensions and has a lot of stock photos and fonts to choose from. Obviously it doesn’t have the hundreds of editing options you could get out of Photoshop, but it sets you up with all the tools you need to put together something eye-catching. Give it a try and see what you think.
