Quick update since its been over a week since I've updated. I'm taking care of things in my personal life in preparation to hit the home stretch writing Flux which will likely be a few months of singularly dedicated effort. There's definitely more coming, and soon. The blood moon rises!

Jason Bennett commented on Cursory Rhymes

    Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
No need to wonder what you are.
Up above the world and sky
    Apocalypse falls from on high.

When the blazing sun has set,
And all its memories stoke regret,
Then it shines its little light,
    It obliterates the night!

Those who travel in the dark,
Will hear its call, and pause, and hark!
And when one road forks into two,
Its a trap, both lead to you.

In the crimson sphere you keep,
Often through the void do peep,
For eye and stone become as one,
Until the Devils work is done.

To shine so brightly, little spark,
Within your core lurks something dark,
Though I know just what you are...
    Twinkle, twinkle, little star.

    Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
Oh, How I wonder why you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like the void within his eye.

    Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder why you are.
How I wonder why you are.

(Read the following in ye olden pirate voice until the last line, then drop to monotone.)

Jack be Nimble, Jack be quick.
One step ahead, that be Jacks trick!
Jack may jump high, Jack may jump low
That secret, only Jack can know.

    Jack, be nimble, persevere,
Soon all the world will know true fear!
Jack be quick, and don't look back
Jack knows one word, Attack! Attack!

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick
Jacks not the hero of this flick
This part in rhyme is quite a kick
My names not Jack, and that's the trick.
