  • Where: LIVE at this Google Hangout link
  • or anytime afterward at this Youtube link
  • Who: Me and Sally Ember, Ed.D
  • What: A conversation between Sally and I where we'll discuss my book, art, and all sorts of esoteric things probably! You'll get to see me in all my nerdy glory, so check it out! You fellow authors out there may want to consider doing one of these conversations, too! JF Dubeau did one this week. Go watch him in all his French-Canadian glory!

3. Exclusive excerpt coming soon to Art Books Coffee!

  • Where: Art, Books, & Coffee, an incredible blog for anyone who likes art or books

Bonus 4th Thing: Finally, there are six postcards of my "Busy, Busy Alien" illustration left. Order now if you want one!

Happy weekend to you all!

      GREAT NEWS!

Blood Dawn just jumped from being 1/10th of the way to its funding goal, to being almost 1/4. This happened all in a split-second!

That's right -- check out my project page. Inkshares lowered my funding goal so I now only need 1,000 pre-orders to reach my publication goal. With 6 months to go, and given how quickly momentum has grown just over the last 2 months (and let's not mention all the tricks I have up my sleeve to amp up my outreach more and more with each month to come), I'm very encouraged. This book is going to be real, published, in your hands, out there for epic fantasy fans to enjoy.

Please keep spreading the word. If you have followed this book recently, I'd appreciate your support right now. Head over to my Blood Dawn page (https://www.inkshares.com/projects/blood-dawn) and look at the three options for how you can back it.

Right now there are about 100 readers following Blood Dawn who have not ordered a copy. If every one of you became a Dragon backer (7 copies), we would be at 1,000. We'd be done, just like this -- as quickly as the funding goal dropped from 2,500 to 1,000. That's an amazing thought, even if it is ambitious.

If all of you became God-Kings (3 copies), we'd be more than 50% to the funding goal. Regardless, if each of you ordered a copy Blood Dawn would be so much further ahead.

And of course, regardless of what you choose to do, I am overwhelmed by all the interest this book is generating. While I continue to make this book as amazing as it can be, I'm encouraged by the growing reader community.

This is a great moment for Blood Dawn and what lies ahead!
