It looks like I’m not going to reach my funding goal for We’re the Whiteheads. I figured it was a long shot, but I wanted to try one more time to see if I could reach a goal of 750 pre-orders. I want to thank everyone who supported, followed, and/or pre-ordered my book. After my campaign ends, you should receive a refund. If not, email Inkshares at hello@inkshares.com.

We’re the Whiteheads has been a personal project of mine for over a year, and the idea for it has been in the making for over several years. I still have plans to publish my family’s story, but now’s the time for me to publish through another avenue. It has been a privilege to write on this site! I’ll come back from time to time to update anyone who’s still interested in my story’s progress.

I’m here to share some exciting news and to humbly request your help. To kick things off, I’ve recently added two new chapters to Red Circle, which you can read here:

• Chapter Five: The Visitor
• Chapter Six: Death Quota

After several chapters spent introducing new characters, these two circle back (pardon the pun) to Dean Orwell and Sarah Matthews, the lighthouse keeper and rookie cop who are at the center of this mystery.

Now for the part where I need your help. I’m approaching the end of this novel (most of it still not shared here), and while there is still a good deal amount of work ahead of me, I would like to start preparing for the inevitable pre-order campaign. Anything you could do to help spread the word about this novel would be appreciated in more ways than I can express. Whether that includes recommending it to your followers, sharing a link on social media, or anything else you can think of, I’d just love to get more eyes on this before we really get started.
