Fernando Crôtte liked an update for The Lore of the Aos Sí

Hail Bards!

Yesterday was a good day for the Order! Five copies were ordered and two new readers joined up! Big thanks to Deborah Reid, Jaye Milius, and Kelly Cookson! I think we can keep that momentum, if you’ve already ordered, please share with a friend today. If a friend Pre-Orders remember you get TWO Tickets for the Raffle.

Speaking of which, I forgot the coolest part of the raffle, I can’t believe I forgot it! I am in the process of hand crafting three wands in the manner of the ancient druids of Celtic Lore. These wands will be part of the raffle. I don’t have pictures yet, but I do have a picture of three that I have made before, so you can get an idea of what the wands might look like!

Three Lucky Readers Will Receive One of These Wands! My design is based on the Three Aspects of The Goddess. The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone. I will provide updates on the crafting process as well!

Best way to up your chances is to share the The Lore of the Aos Sí with everyone! Get your friends and family to Join The Order of the Bards, Ovydds, and Druids! For every person you bring on you get TWO TICKETS!

Have a great rest of the weekend! I think we can get to #80 today! What do you guys think?!

Blessed Be!

Fernando Crôtte liked an update for The Last Faoii

    Greetings, Faoii!

I’m having a good day today. First, I woke up this morning and someone had egged my car-- but I was able to get all the egg off without issue and Caroline still looks fine (Yes, my car’s name is Caroline.) Then I went to a #selflove photoshoot and had SO much fun! I feel beautiful and amazing and ready to sell some pre-orders! Because, if I’m being honest, I’m much better at writing than modeling-- but if I was able to succeed at the one, there’s no excuse for not excelling at the other.

As of now we’re 17 pre-orders away from Quill. We’re SO close. I am excited to see us reach that milestone.

    Take care of yourselves.

    Tahani

Fernando Crôtte liked an update for Blurred Weaponry (Saints of the Void, Book 1)

This isn’t super short, but it IS an important announcement.

Thank you to everyone who clicked follow here and there for Blurred Weaponry. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, I have to remove myself from Inkshares as a writer and release projects independently for now. The reason is simple: I’m god-awful at this. I can’t sell myself or my work for the life of me, and couldn’t even give the book away and have people take it. I was planning on spending a couple thousand dollars just for this first novel in advertising with the HOPES of getting the measly 250 copies ordered for Quill, but what if I didn’t make it because I’m terrible at hammering home sales? That thought, and potential extreme loss of cash, drove me away from pretending to be salesman.

[Blah blah blah, deleted second paragraph full of justifications because who cares, and now moving on…]

In any case, I’ll still be on Inkshares. I’ll be writing a review here and there, about every ten days (I’ll be doing one later tonight), supporting a syndicate, sharing via twitter, and liking pages / posting comments on Facebook. I like this platform, and love the chance it gives to authors who are better at being salesfolk than I can ever be, so I’m not really going anywhere (honestly, I’ll be way more active thanks to reviews than I ever was while updating since I never had anything to say).

On a final note, Blurred Weaponry will be out in like 3 weeks. I’ll have a very temporary download link up (I mean, seriously, 24 hours at most) for free copies to Inkshares followers / authors if they DM me on twitter when I announce that. My next update will be about then, and should also include the reviews I’ve done (if they were accepted ^_^) and links to those projects.

May the words be with you. Also, the force. That’s fairly important, sometimes. Peace out,

      -MAV

Fernando Crôtte liked an update for APEX

My sincerest thanks to all of you who have pre-ordered a copy of APEX and recommended to your friends to pre-order as well. I’m now within 6, yes SIX, pre-orders of 3rd place. Of course, the competition isn’t standing still, but with my new fantastic video trailer on YouTube and Inkshares found here:

         https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNj-LN9ss0s

created by the amazing Christopher Lee, author of The Lore of Aos Si (Check out his novel on Inkshares.com), I have a chance to push ahead.

Thank you so much for all of your continued support. Please help me make this last push to forge ahead in the contest so I can get my book published and into your hands!

        Cheers, Debbie

Fernando Crôtte sent an update for Mission 51

Idan Carré just finished a super-cool watercolor illustration of several key moments in the Mission 51 chapter called Full Moon. It is the chapter that documents Mat’s escape from his 15-year captivity in Area 51, according to the details I was given by Dr. Linda Deltare herself, who is also pictured in these images.

As usual, Idan has captured the heart and soul of these moments in her playful, colorful style, in contrast to the monumental significance of these serious, historical events. I hope you get to read this pivotal chapter someday soon.

          Thank you, Idan!

Fernando Crôtte liked an update for Storm Song

                Happy Friday, Sailors!

I’m frantically packing to head out of town for a wedding! One of my very best friends is getting hitched tomorrow, and I’m her maid of honor (or best lady, as I prefer to call it). Before I left, I wanted to swing by and check in with all of you- mainly to drop one final reminder:

The dice giveaway ends tomorrow! October 15th!

Be sure to get your pre order in today or tomorrow. Once I’m back home, I’ll be puling three random winners and sending out and update to congratulate on their prize! Right now we have over 100 entries! But there’s still time to stack the odds in your favor by referring your friends to enter and notifying me of what names to look out for.

Currently, we’re sitting in 3rd place at 277 readers. I’ve got my eyes set on hitting 300 before the end of the month. I think it’s absolutely achievable. I’m hoping you guys can help me get there! Order today or send your friends over to get a copy for themselves. New milestones are being hit every day in this campaign.

As always, let me just tell you all how amazing you are, and how grateful I am for your support in this process. I wouldn’t have made it this far if it weren’t for you guys.

                Have a great weekend, gang!

                -Allison

I was hoping to have a little short story from an adventure that is not in the book written up, but I’ve been battling some serious fatigue this week. Hopefully sometime this weekend I can get to that!

On another note, The Living God still has 77 days left to campaign and part of me really wants to shoot for that 750 goal. The other part of me realizes how impossible that seems. If The Living God could reach 750 pre-orders it would go on to mass publishing and be sold in bookstores around the world. But, I’m a practical woman. It has taken a lot of effort to get this close to the 250 goal and I’ve pretty much tapped out my willing network. Even if the book did not reach 750, it would still go into light publication. When I started this I had no intention of attempting the 750. To be honest, I was doubtful that I could reach the 250. I’m an introvert and I’ve always harbored huge anxiety over money and asking people for it. I entered Inkshares for the contest. But, I knew the likelihood of winning so I also aimed for that 250 mark. Light publishing was always my main objective at heart. I welcome any feedback or advice for those who have shot for that 750 mark, even if you missed.
