@Cem Bilici I think you should go for it here first and see what happens, self publish if your project fails like two times on here. But definitely try here first, it’ll draw some attention for free if you do self publish, Inkshares gives great percentages and provide a lot of services that you’ll end up spending a lot of money on in the self publishing route, and you’ll be better off to write other stories leaving the business end to a publisher. All publishers are a scam, but inkshares is one of the best for the writer (the absolute best one I’ve found) with the percentages and services they include. The publishing process is about which scam sounds most agreeable to you. With inkshares they give you a higher percentage than you’ll probably actually make self publishing (with self advertising and printing & stuff) so definitely try this out first.

When it comes to your other stories go for them! I’m currently working on 9 different projects when it comes to writing alone. My plan is to put them up here one by one then if they fail in preorders twice I’m going to publish them myself and move on to my next project on here.

Oh and.. G’day!

G’day! I’ve known about Inkshares for about a year, but was on the fence for a long while. The Geek and Sundry contest finally just pushed me to do it. It was perfect timing, and I figured it was worth my best effort. I’m really happy to have my contemporary fantasy up for people to get behind. :)

(And I’m only slightly panicking about not getting enough pre-orders. Only slightly.)

I was looking for somewhere to say G’day, too so I’ll say it here: G’day!

I, too, just found this site through Geek and Sundry and I’m falling in love with it! As you said @Cem Bilici the whole concept is fantastic. In fact, I kind of wish I’d discovered it before I set to self-publishing the novel I published last year - but then again, my whole purpose for that was to find out exactly what it did take so that I could make future decisions in full knowledge of that so... worth it!

Anyway, lovely to ’meet’ you both and see you around the site!
