The dynamic between Rodrick and Ben is interesting. I think that if the novel goes on to explore the question of who gets to be the stuff of legend, if it explores that bridge between a young and untrained person and the older, more experienced, possibly more legendary person, that's an arc that will speak to a lot of readers, whether they consider themselves a Ben, a Rodrick, or somewhere in transition.
