Treatment

A malevolent/benevolent omniscient being grants everyone on earth one wish. Some people wish for great power, land ownership and wealth. Others from the developing world or those who are victims of personal tragedies wish for restoration of health to sick relatives, provision of food to famine ridden communities or even the resurrection of children passed away. These two opposing groups force the poverty gap even wider leading to, on one hand, a world of opulent highly secured gated communities and, on the other, a disenfranchised underclass who have their health and families but exist in the few retched spaces left behind. Uprisings, civil wars and sectarian violence ensue.....which leads us to the third group. Men and women who wished for neither riches nor the alleviation of despair, people who wished for powers of another kind, powers that set them apart from their fellow man...superhuman powers. Super humans left to police a new world order against formidable odds.
