With the long silence I’d started to worry that you’d given up.  Glad you haven’t.  Keep us posted.

Hello Vanishians,

Sorry I haven’t been updating my progress recently. I’ve just moved back to the UK and my whole life has momentarily turned upside-down.

Slowly, but surely, my hectic life has begun to settle. It’s taken me a while to find the time to do some writing/planning but finally, I can begin to get into the swing of things again.

I’m very excited to say that I have added lots of lovely new chapter ideas and twists in my book structure and I can’t wait till you can all read them!

Once my structure has been organised, I’ll be able to continue on with writing my book and hopefully I’ll send some more chapters for you all to read.

Have a wonderful day, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like feedback on your work. I’d love to help and trade feedback!

Until next time,

- Chloe

Hey Chloe, new to Inkshares and stumbled upon your story. Have only read the prologue so far but it's well written. It get's straight to the point right away.

Bonjour Vanishians,

I hope that you all are having a great last day of the year 2015! Things have been going awesome with 'Vanish'. I'm adding in lots of new events and drinking lots of tea and coffee. I'm thinking about making a website for my Vanishian supporters that will have updates, bonus chapters, and exciting things to show whilst I write away in my secluded corner.

I have been inspired by Star Wars's siths and Harry Potter's Dementors to make my evil Shadow demons, (name is a work in progress), and their evil leader Lord Astaroth even more dark and twisted.

I'm adding lots of new background information and drama to my book, and I can't wait till I can share it with all of you!

My new year resolutions are to complete and publish Vanish, and then start on the second book of the series. What's yours?

Happy New year,

- Chloe :)

I have come to the realisation that most authors have names for their special suporters so from this day fourth I shall be naming you all Vanishians. (It's a work in progress and may change).

Heres the news... Progress has been going great with my book thanks to coffee, and a great Spotify playlist blaring in the background. My mind has been exploding with new, exciting ideas to add into 'Vanish'.

I have also fixed something thats been bugging me for a while. I have been thinking that something was off with my characters, it certainly was not their personalities or roles, so what was it? i asked myself. Well, the problem was staring right at me, their names did not fit their roles at all!

As soon as I realised this simple, and fixable problem, I got to work researching great names for my Characters. One of my 'baddies' in my book is named Master Derek... oh boo, this does not sound evil at all! This name was certainly not fit for an evil overlord, so I changed it to... (dramatic drum roll)... Lord Astaroth. It has a ring to it, does it not? I've got the chills just thinking about his evil presence.

I have been contacting many published authors to get feedback and advice, and I have already got replies. I'm feeling more like an author with each passing moment.

Thats all I have to say for now.

Happy New Years!

- Chloe

Hello all, I'm excited to say that this is my first official update I have ever written! Sorry for being a bit of a dead writer, I've been quite busy, as you all can understand.

First things first, I have finished my book layout, or Master Structure as I like to call it. This means that I can finally get to the fun part... writing! I hope to get my whole book written after the summer break, in 2016. This sounds like a long way away, but this year has really gone by fast, hasn't it?

Thanks for all of your support, happy holidays!

- Chloe

Hello! I like the premise of the book, but it simply doesn't have the element good story telling in some places.

There was areas you might need to rethink about a bit, for example, "sad smile". When you looked through the draft, did you really think that if a person in real life knew a psychopath, she would make a sad smile? Judgements aside, that could be possible, but maybe change it to "a mask of pure terror". That would've made it sound more realistic and more emotional as it foreshadows what happens next.

The actions could've been dragged on for longer, as it too brief and happened too quickly.

I also find it a bit clichéd to bait the readers with questions about the backstory of the book. Perhaps explain a bit of what's happening? Thanks.

So much action right from the start! If this were in physical book from I would say I couldn't stop turning the pages! I can't wait to find out more about Lindsey and Derek. Keep writing Chloe, this story rocks!
