the Russian soldiers who shot slowly walked over to them and kicked at there bodies then the 2nd man started crawling the Russian who fired the first shot walked over to him with his Serdyukov SPS out and  dragged him to an alley. Vlad with his silenced PB ran to the alley, i rushed to the alley and quickly pulled him in the alley with me “you’re going to get us killed!” i whispered loudly he got out of my grip and found the man again. The Russian pointed  his gun to the injured mans head with a smirk on his face. BANG the Russian fell with a thud and his partner turned around and got shot almost instantly and slumped against a wall. “What are you doing?” Dmitri slammed Vlad against the wall, “I’m doing my job.” Vlad left his grip and started to patch up the civilian. Dmitri grabbed the riot helmet the Russian was wearing and put it on.After he was done we left the alley leaving the civilian to a older man who said he was a doctor, we moved out back to the street, i pulled out my map “the gate controls are that way” i pointed to a large outpost with the Russian flag hanging over it and Humvee guarding the building between the building and us was a large park with a statue of the Russian president Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

“hey Vlad”

“Yes?”

“You still got that Rpg 29?”

We made a run for it and dashed across the field till we got to the statue, “Vlad can you hit the entrance?”

“You know i can”

“Okay dimitri you come up with me and we distract as Vlad fires and then we all rush it and open the gates okay?”

They both nodded.

“GO” I ran to a low stone wall and lay prone Dimitri did the same, the Russians noticed us and turned the Dshk. As bullets whizzed with the sound of roaring thunder past us Vlad aimed the Rpg 29 and in a split second he pulled the trigger sending a rocket of fire and death the rocket hit the ground between the vehicles sends shrapnel everywhere and killing multiple. We ran to the entrance of the building now covered in soot with our guns up “i got this” Dimitri said as he held up a RPO-A and walked slowly towards the building he flipped down his riot visor as russians poured out of the building with their guns drawn. However it wasn’t a second before Dimitri opened fire,his gun threw flames across the enemies sending them to the floor in agony and leaving them in pain. They were wiped out quick without a  single shot pulled off they lay there charred and burnt dimitri moved in and kicked the door down, we followed him as he swept the floor he made it to a room with yelling from the inside with the door bolted shut he planted a device on it and stood back he held the trigger in his hand he pulled it and the doors came blasting off he rushed the room to find 2 Russians on the ground from the explosion he also found controls to the gate. He pressed the button labeled ‘OPEN GATE’ while he was doing that me and Vlad were covering his back from the outside where many wandering troops started shooting at us then a BDRM-2 rolled up and men poured out of it we laid down fire killing at least 4 men then the Btr fired sending small fragments of wall scattering everywhere all of a sudden we heard “styahuvaty!” we looked outside to see our tanks (painted blue and gold) ram into the BDRM sending the men inside sprawling out. Then Ukrainian Soldiers ran about the streets killing every Russian soldier they found leading them was the national guard with a flag bearer. Then out of the tank hatch popped out Ivan with his revolver in hand he went down to the ground to meet me, i met him half way, “good job comrade”  his arm touched my shoulder, out of the corner of his eye he saw a russian body twitch, he aimed his gun with ease and shot him once. “Now the fun begins” he exclaimed and got back to  the tank not before shooting a hole in the russian flag. “Onward to moscow!”

Kingston meet us at the celebration but it was short lived “we have to move ahead to st.petersburg we have no time to wait” so we packed up and went to our humvee and i sat next to the driver and we were off i  looked outside and saw civilians waving at us. “ETA  1 hour” kingston said on the radio “keep looking for Russian loyalists” we continue down the road “hey Vlad remember this is a warzone not a hospital you can’t do that anymore”

“I understand”

“Boys get some rest” with that i close my eyes and get entranced in sleep

“Akim wake up” my eyes opened slightly “what?”Dmitri shook me and i remembered where i am. I looked up and saw ruined buildings behind and in front of us  with a makeshift gate with a fence it opened as we approached and unveiled men training and tank crews receiving briefing we stopped in the massive camp and got out, there we saw a man with a captain patch on his uniform and a cigar in one hand  “you the reinforcements?” i gave a nod and saluted “come on you almost missed briefing” he led us to a tent with a large opening and there were men sitting and watching a general standing with a map on a large board “sit down” my men did as they were told and i joined them “okay so the 26th infantry battalion you will go up to the english embankment and provide cover for the 76th” (we were the 76th) “got it?” we all nodded and then the men got up and walked up to load their guns Kingston looked up and let out a “Load up!” our men went to get in our Humvee.
