New Beginning

“So what’s on the other floors, you know beside like unimaginative printers and dusty desks?” I ask timidly. Ronnys merely looks at me uninterestedly, and he waits tensely for a little before answering wearily me.

“Rick will explain everything. He’s on an outing but will be back in a little while. For now, we just wait in the guest lobby.”the elevator dings and we all step out, the outlying area is carefully lit and a little more than extravagant, Ronny moved over to a broad couch with Phill following, halfway there he turns back to me and informed me to merely come and merely sit, so I inevitably follow and sit looking around for all the exit, making note of the best way to escape if needed. I surprise myself by asking.

“ Hey, Ronny, where did you say Rick, was again?” terrible suspicion creeping warily into my hoarse voice, without meaning to. I peek over at him to see there is a terrible fear in his burning eyes, and he looks fearfully to Phill before answering evasively.

“I at present informed you. He is away on an outing, he will be back soon so don’t worry.” the abject fear was evident in his voice, and I bolt upright and see as a consequence Phill do defensively the same I run frantically for the stairs hearing Phills lumbering footfalls behind me. I openly slam one of the flimsy doors down the lit hall and slam it shut behind me, hearing Phill slam against the door behind me. I scarcely noticed this dull place looked like a bedroom. I suddenly grabbed the dresser and flung it against the door and looked for a critical window in the disordered room. I with difficulty find one in the filthy bathroom but it was barely big enough to fit through minus an odd couple of used inches of exposed skin. I squeezed through just as I heard Phill bust down the main door. I fell hard and fast straight into open water, the shock of it causing me to gasp out as I start to sink.
