Their is a war in this mind.

The smoke and ash fill my lungs.

Monsters and demons in despair.

As the pitiful screams fill the air.

The monsters lurk closer.

To notice my device in disrepair.

"What is this device?" I wonder.

It howls and chimes as I get near.

The monsters shriek in fear.

Suddenly, a loud knock surrounds the air.

Everything begins to disappear.

I kneel down in the fading world.

"Make this end!" I shout.

I close my eyes in pain.

To soon see light peer out.

As the pain begins to slip away.

I look up to the bright light.

To hear a knocking at my door.

I look to see the light from my window.

Thinking to myself "Was that a war?"

To hear a faint voice at my door.

Whisper and say, "No, not anymore."
