This is a promising start to an engaging character. Starbuck Mclaw is told from the narrator's perspective, which draws the reader in immediately with their lack of expert knowledge. What seems to be something the narrator doesn't know, because he assumes the mummy was brought to life with electricity (probably) only furthers the world we find ourselves in and it's a world we want to know more about!
