Chapter 1

It was the middle of April of 1996. The sky turned from blue to gray in a matter of minutes. A battle that has been fought for ages has come to an end. Or at least that’s what Anthony thought. There were bodies of angels and demons on the floor, making a huge pool of blood around them. Some angels crawling, dragging themselves somewhere demons wouldn’t find them. But it was of no use, their lives ended in that battle, along with every hope, every chance of the angels winning this battle. The only ones left were Anthony Arcangel, leader of the angel army, Andrew Redstone, leader of the demon army and a few of Andrew’s men. Andrew’s sword against Anthony’s sword fighting their way to victory and survival but Andrew knew he had this battle won. “One of us is going to leave this place alive and by the looks of this situation all the odds are in my favor” said Andrew with confidence. “Don’t be so sure of that my dear friend. I still have a little surprise… well two surprises actually for you if I die in this battle” said Anthony without noticing that Andrew also had a surprise for him. Andrew didn’t give any credit to what Anthony said. Acting like his comment didn’t matter “Salute god for me please if you don’t mind. But before I send you to the other world there is one secret I want you to take to your grave” said Andrew. “Let me guess...you finally figure out that that hair color looks awful and you want to change it. You know red suits you better. It would match your tan skin” Anthony said making fun of Andrew’s blue hair. “Oh so now you want to be funny. You know now that you mention my hair color. I always wonder why I had different hair color from the other demons. Turns out I’m not even a demon. I’m a descendent from an ancient Mayan warlock. Actually the last one after your grandfather and father along with the shadow hunters killed them all. Margaret is giving birth to the undead swords… wait I’m sorry my sons as we speak” said Andrew. Anthony with eyes wide open, analyzing what he just said “Impossible” whispered Anthony.

“Push, Come on you can do this just push with all your strength” said the doctor. “I’m pushing” said Stephaney with pain in her tone. The baby was crowing, an expression of pain and suffering took over her face. But the thought of giving birth to two little angels matter more than any pain she could ever suffer. “That’s it keep it up, the baby is almost out” cheered one of the nurses. “Blood pressure” ask the doctor. “Blood pressure is normal” respond another nurse. A cry broke the silence in the room, the first baby was born. “It’s a baby girl” said the doctor. Stephaney smile when she hears the cry of her baby. But that joy didn’t last for long. The pain toke over her again. This time the pain was intolerable, the expression in her face said it all. The doctor quickly toke action. “Hurry up and get this baby clean, the second baby is crowing” said the doctor giving the baby to a nurse. Stephaney yelling from the pain she was feeling. Unable to control herself she started pushing. “Stephaney wait, stop pushing we are not ready for the baby to come out yet. “ I… DON’T CARE…GET …IT …OUT” yelled Stephaney in pain. “Stay calm please” said the doctor. “Doctor we are all set” said a nurse. “Alright then, Stephaney I want you to calm down, take a deep breath and…. But before the doctor could finish, she toke a deep breath and being to push. The expression in her face was painful. The doctor carefully absorbed her face. He thought to himself that she was not going to make it. “Doctor her blood pressure is going down fast and her heart beat is slowing down” said the nurse. “Alright ladies you know what to do in this type of situations and let’s hope for the best” said the doctor.

How are you feeling Margaret? Ask the doctor. “I’m not here to have a friendly conversation with you. I’m here to give birth to Andrew’s monsters” said Margaret. The doctor confused, “why do you express yourself like that about your babies? Ask the doctor. “These creatures that I carry inside of me are not babies. They might have the form of a human but they are the undead swords” said Margaret breaking the secret that Andrew told her to keep. The news were shocking, the doctor with a shocking expression in his face. With such small information, the doctor forms so many questions in his head. But instead of asking questions, he let her tell the story of how this happened. “One night he came late, I remember it was the night of the red moon. The moon light was illuminating our room from the window on our roof. It made a romantic setting in the room. I notice that he was acting a little different… but before she could continue a strong pain toke over her. The doctor quickly realized she was having contractions and calls the nurses to come in the room. The nurses rush into the room with everything ready to start on his command. But it was hard for the doctor to concentrate. He was still shocked from the news that Margaret gave him. Margaret breathing in and out, trying to keep herself calm and ready to give birth to the babies she called monsters. “Keep it up, you are doing great. It will be all over soon enough” said the doctor wondering if Andrew knew that in order for the undead sword to rise, the jam must die. It was a sacrifice, a life for a life. “Alright ladies let’s get to work, but first send one of the other nurses to tell a guard to inform Andrew about this situation” said the doctor rushing every one.

“Impossible… that can’t be, how did you manage to accomplish that, if my grandfather and father kill them all and every lab there was… what you’re confessing me doesn’t make any senses” said Anthony with a confused and shocked expression. “You know what, by the look on your face. It seems that my father’s plan was a complete success, well sort of. You know, its quit amusing looking at your shocking expression right now” said Andrew taking steps away from Anthony. Anthony tried to figure things out in his head. But nothing made sense, nothing at all. Everything he knew about Andrew was wrong. He is not well prepared for an unknown enemy. At this point anything can happen. “What’s wrong Anthony, you look like you want an explanation…” “Yes please” interrupted Anthony. “You know that’s rude to interrupt someone when they are talking. But since you said please I’ll SHOW you” said Andrew. Reaching for his left shoulder, he pulled up the sleeve. A birth mark shape like a sword in flames was uncovered. Anthony couldn’t believe it. “You can’t fool me that’s tattoo. You thought that I was going to fall for that” said Anthony refusing to believe. Standing face to face, Anthony couldn’t believe what Andrew was telling him. “How did this happen? I knew your father and he was not a descendent of a Mayan warlock or non of his ancestors were related to a Mayan warlock. I…I don’t understand any of this” said Anthony even more confused. “Oh don’t worry you’ll figure it out. You just need to dig a little more but you’ll get it. You know everything happen when my father made that trip to Mexico after the war” comment Andrew. “But how if your father was severely injured and even if he did he wasn’t able to create you in a lab unless…. Anthony stopped to think if he was created it the natural way. But that was impossible if Anthony’s grandfather and father kill them all. They killed the entire warlock raise from every part of the earth dimension. All this was making no sense to Anthony. “You look annoyed, let me tell you how everything happened” said Andrew walking towards Anthony. Anthony looked at Andrew and snap out of his thoughts. He raise his sword “Now I realized what you and your father are trying to do but it won’t work I’m sure of it” said Anthony with a firm tone. “I’m glad you’re up to speed with the story” said Andrew. The demo in hiding realized that was his signal to attack. With great speed the demon fly down from the sky and stroked Anthony with a silver sword. Andrew with a smile on his face, “You do realize that without you, wiping the human raise out of the face of the earth just became easier”. “But… was all… that … worth losing… the woman… you… you love” said Anthony falling to the grown. Andrew knew angles can’t lie. He ran to catch Anthony. “What are you talking about, answer me” said Andrew angrily shaking Anthony’s body. “Sir he is dead” said the demon that killed Anthony. Andrew calming himself down, “I don’t supposed one of you know what he meant by that” another demon step up “I think he was talking about the undead sword prophecy sir” said the demon. “Prophecy, What are you talking about. My father didn’t mention any prophecy in his research” said Andrew more confused. “Sir the undead sword prophecy says that in order for the sword to rise, the jam must die. It’s kind of like a life for lives. You know” said the demon. “NO I DON’T KNOW, THAT’S WHY I’M ASKING” yelled Andrew. “What he is trying to say is that your wife is the jam sir” said another demon. Andrew stand looking at the demon with a confusing expression
