The Waking

She woke to a crash of lightning. The room was dark and as far as she could tell, it had no Windows. As of Chapter 1, she asended to a standing postition and the woman wandered around the small space to hit her body on a metalic wall. Shocked from the sudden impact, she abruptly searched the wall for a light switch. Feeling a plastic like lever, she shifted it up.

A dim light flickered on, shielding her eyes she gasped from the colossal impact. Once her pupils adjusted she saw she was standing by a small floor matress and in the far corner of the small square room there was a mirror on the wall.

Walking over to the mirror she saw tangled, long brown hair, bright blue eyes, pale white skin, and a tight black short sleeved shirt. Upon seeing herself in such a frightning way, she suddenly realized that she did not know anything about the woman who stared back at her.

She slowly letting herself fall into a sitting postion while many questions filled her mind: Who am I? How do I get here? Did someone do this to me? The questions filling her mind put her in a state of awe. She quickly stood up to look into the mirror once again, she noticed faded black letters on the side of her neck. Walking closer the woman saw that it said "S.A.D.N. Subject."

Upon seeing this she stepped back in panic. "S.A.D.N. subject? What the heck does that mean?" The woman paced around the dim lighted room, "Who am I? GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" She banged on the walls of the room, she ran to mirror to look at herself once again to see if she reconized her own reflection. "Who am I?" Tears were racing down her pale face, she touched the small mirror. "Oh my... What?" She wiped her tears and smiled. For the first time in her short memory, she smiled.

 She remembered.

"Jewel Bean, my name is Jewel Bean."
