Water lapped along the sandy dunes of a far away beach, where salt clung to the air as if they were long lost lovers finally embracing after being apart for an eternity and the sun was hanging low in the sky, just barely dipping into the ocean.Wind whipped into the few trees dotting the coast. There were no signs that civilization had ever touched these shores no matter how far you stared down either direction of the water’s edge. A sense of slow change, like stone eroding into a canyon, would be palpable to anyone on the beach, but no one had ever been there, and no one would be there for quite some time.
