Owen, ran out of his grandparent’s house dressed as a fireman. He turned
on the garden hose. He pulled it towards his grandpa’s barn.
“Hello there Mr. Water Strider,” Owen said.
“I am fire marshal Fred,” responded the Water Strider.
The two then began to spray the barn right away, from the blazing inferno. The two were talking on their walky-talkys. In 5 minutes the fire was out. Owen and Fred sat down on the back rear of Grandpa’s old truck, a job well done.
As Owen and his mother pulled up to the construction site his father was working at
to bring him lunch. He walked up to the work site, where he saw a Carpenter Ant named Billy Bob on a green tool box.
“How are you?” asked Owen.
“Just working,” responded Billy Bob.
It was Owen’s birthday, and his parents
took him out to a local Mexican Restaurant for dinner.
When he received the menu to look it over, he saw a cricket on it.
“Good evening to you, sir!” exclaimed Owen.
“Hola, my name is Carlos,” spoke the cricket.
He began to play the Vihuela, as the Mariachi Band began to sing Happy Birthday. They began to dance and smile with his little sister.
It was a nice summer day; Owen put on his cleats and went out to play some soccer with his friends. All of a sudden a grasshopper jumped onto the soccer ball out from the grass.
“What is your name?” asked Owen.
“Glad you asked. My name is Rick. Can I play?” Rick Asked.
“Of course you can,” responded Owen.
Rick kicked and scored. He then jumped and scored another with his head.
It was time for the state fair, to see the diving dogs. He saw a flea flung off as one of the dogs was shaking dry.
“Hi there! said Owen.
“My name is Uncle Alex,” spoke the dog.
“Weeee,” he screamed flying about 6 feet, splashing water in the air, and getting Owen all wet, going for the thrown bone.
The school bell rang. Owen, grabbed his book bag. When he saw a Lady Bug fly and land on his nose.
“Who are you?” asked Owen.
“My name is Mrs. Wilson. I will be your school’s crossing guard,” responded Mrs. Wilson.
She got out and blew her whistle. She held out a stop sign, the others to waves the kids along.
It was Halloween, and Owen was dressed up as a Snow Man, from the corner of his eye saw a black beetle on one of the pumpkin’s.
“Hello, what is your name?” asked Owen.
“My name is Big Toe that is a joke. It is Big Joe,” said Big Joe.
“What are you for Halloween?” asked Owen.
“That is a good question I am a Vampire,” responded Big Joe.
One day after mother picked up Owen from school, they stopped by the supermarket. While Owen was being pushed along in the cart in the produce department he saw an aphid on a head of cabbage.
“Excuse me, what is your name?” asked Owen.
“Nice to meet you, my name is Haley. What can I help you with here in the Deli?” asked Haley.
“My mother would like a fresh loaf of bread,” said Owen, handing over the shopping list.
“I will get that all ready for you in a few minutes.
It was Christmas Eve. Owen’s family went to church for a Candlelight service. When the music had ended and the offering plate was being passed he saw a praying mantis inside the pan.
“Well Hello, What is your name?” asked Owen.
“My name is Father Nickels; it is time for us to pray,” said Father Nickels.
