Ok, so I have to admit that I never read poetry, as I usually don't get it, and the only time I ever really felt touched by poetry was in high school when hearing someone write about their time in the trenches in world war one.
But I'm happy to say I really felt touched by two of the poems here, firstly 'Happiness' but my favourite was 'My hero.' Something about these stuck a chord and drew me into the poem, and I think it's because I can relate with exactly what is being said.
Thanks for reminding me about the power of poetry.
