The Seræphym are one of the Courtless races in the realm of Tír na nÓg. Commonly called The Scribes, Sylphs, orFuries, the Seræphym hail from the Unreachable Isle. The seat of their power is the Acropolis. They are ruled by Keeper of Knowledge who is charged with the chronicling of history and the curation of relics from Tír na nÓg and beyond. The Scribes are an isolated people, whose commitment to their sacred charge keeps them segregated from the other races. They are a noble people, who see themselves as servants to needs of the other folk throughout the dominions of Tír na nÓg. The Scribes were born of the fiery winds of passion. The Seræphym bear no sigil, but are affiliated with the Courtless peoples of Tír na nÓg.

The Seræphym were created by mankind in the first age to carry out the will of Adam throughout the world. At the end of the first age, many of the Seræphym defected to join the Children of the Goddess (fae).
