Lusting Machina

Chapter 1: Genesis

Ever since olden times, there was the two of us, struggling for dominance over each other in this intergalactic mating ritual. We are polar opposites of each other, like the yin and yang of Chinese philosophy. My realm of power is organic while hers is mechanic. We have spent countless aeons searching the stars for a suitable planet to enact our apocalyptic mating ritual since the last one ended in disaster. Earth at its current civilization stage is perfect for us.

After Machina and I confirmed the density of machines and organic beings on Earth, both of us entered the atmosphere. Not even the heat of atmospheric entry can rival my own burning lust for Machina and her chrome body. Each of us headed for different countries to build up our own power. I headed for the country you used to call China while she chose the country that was South Korea.

I don’t have to wait long for organics to gather around me, curious about the latest object from space that landed in their rural neighbourhood. I quickly possessed the first few arrivals, a man and two women, by dividing my mass equally between the three of them. Each of them has my power to take control of organic beings and manipulate them at will. I learned about planet Earth as much as I could from the information in their brains. The need for discretion is important until I grow stronger. I fear my other competitors for Machina’s love will arrive once they noticed the ritual has begun.

The comet that was my entry vehicle has to be secured quickly. A lot of my own dormant organic pods lie within, awaiting proper nutrition to mature into adulthood. I took one organic pod out and modified it for the purpose of attracting beasts. Upon activation, a strong pheromone spread widely in that densely forested area. Soon enough, beasts of all kind gather next to me. I enslaved them all as my transport, information network, and fighting force.

As expected, humans came to investigate my crash site. I used too much organic mass to enslave animals instead of the more useful organism: humans. This mistake could set back my grand plan by a few months. I gathered as much organic mass as I can muster and succeeded in possessing one of the scientists who came to my crash site. The amount of information in his brain completely surprised me. In the terms of a normal human, I am having a braingasm processing this much data at once.

The good news: They never found my vehicle. It is safely hidden and tightly guarded by my animals.

The bad news: I failed to gain complete control of the scientist. He is still self-aware but he lost control of his body. Surprisingly, he wasn’t scared or panicking at his current situation. He was so excited that he won’t stop asking me questions.

“So, Mr. Alien, what is your name? Or can I just call you Mr. Alien form now on?”

I got so annoyed at this nickname that I gave him my actual name, as closely translated to the human language as possible, “My name is Lus-ting. I am the Organic King.”
