It was a cold breezy morning that day, that day it all changed. Lox woke up from bed wanting to rest a little longer but he knew he had to get to work or else he would be fired. He rushed into his closet getting his clothes and his lucky jacket. Nobody ever knew what luck it had in it, but he was the only one who knew what power it had.

As lox rushed to the mining factory he knew if he was late he would never get to work at the only place that lets him work. When lox arrived he said to the owner “sorry Mr.Edd I won’t be late again.” “You better not.” Mr.Edd said. Lox grabbed his pick and started mining faster than light was. “Oh man if keep working at this rate my arms are gonna fall of, better slow it down a little.”

Lox found a couple of iron but he wanted to find diamonds, emeralds, a new gem possibly.

He was excited when he found bedrock, he thought he would become rich. But he found something strange, something new. It was a golden machine lox was about to tell the others about this but the machine spoke.

“Hey kid activate me.” The machine said.

Lox was scared for a couple of seconds but said “You can talk?”

“No, I didn’t just speak to you now, OF COURSE I CAN TALK IDIOT.”

“Sorry kid didn’t mean to snap at you, it’s just I haven’t had a friend in ages and I ve become so alone and bored I was just nervous.”

“Really?” lox said. “I haven’t had a friend in ages either”

“Maybe we can be friends.” Lox said nervously.

“Well can you do a new friend a favor and activate me?” It said.

lox pulled the lever and it started to glow and at the next second it blew up in smoke. “Finally, it’s been so long since I had my body, I hated being stuck in that cage.” said a mysterious voice. The smoke cleared up and lox saw a dark figure. “Who are you?” lox said. I am The Darkness, killer of light ruler of evil!” It said. You made a HUGE mistake letting me out.”
