Final Thoughts and Thanks
My hope is that you have enjoyed this book and have gained some value from it. Thank you for allowing me to share my philosophies and my view on living in the Middle Way of life with you. I appreciate you for being open to the thoughts expressed on these pages and I hope it brings some well-deserved peace as well as support in getting that needed balance in your lives.
I also want to thank the many people who I have crossed paths with or have joined me on my life journey and have shared with or even taught me about Buddhism. I will forever be richer in mind, body, and spirit.
I wish to thank my wife, son, daughter, and three dogs for inspiring me each and every day to be a better person and to live a more balanced life.
And remember, life is much like a lane in a bowling alley. You don’t want to go too far to the right or too far to the left (the extremes). You want to be somewhere in the middle between the two extremes. The closer to the middle the more pins you knock down or the more balanced your life will be. So, that’s our goal – living in the middle and finding balance in life.
Don’t give up. It’s OK to just knock down a pin or two today and tomorrow more. Like everything in life – the more we practice, the better we become, the closer to the middle we start to live.
