Everyone out there who has ever dared to try something new. Complete failure or exceed your expectations, a complete success... You are a modern day soldier and a hero. To come out of the project alive and ready to put yourself back into the field, to take on more action, is hard to do and I appreciate you.
I would like to thank everyone that has come into my life. All the good, the bad,... the experiences we shared, help to shape me into the person I am today.

Dear Reader,
I have no desire to take up your time.
We both have a lot to do! Writing this book, is me procrastinating from what I truly desire to do, make movies!
Here is a collection of running thoughts on the life lessons I learnt, focusing on two interests; project management and film production.
Most of what you read are the lessons I had to learn the hard way while in community college and the time spent out of the safety net of the educational system.
My advise is to take one thought at a time. If it is something you can relate to, apply it, work on it until however long it takes you to feel a change.
Thank you for purchasing this journal, by the way. Because of your contributions, you are helping me to fund future projects and cost of living!
Hopefully someday, I can return the favor.
Best of Wishes,
Jessica Brown
Project Management
I’m going through all this “stuff” with you for a lot of reasons.
1.) Nobody did with me.
2.) I want you to be able to trust your team, your enemies, your friends and most importantly, yourself. You deserve to be able to have long lasting friendships and partnerships.
3.) I want you to be able to feel comfortable in your own skin, mind, and actions.
4.) I want you to be able to have that “dream team.” You deserve it!
It is really important that we talk.
Make sure we have the time to listen to both takes ideas and concerns.
Put in writing, to be clear on what you want, need, desire so that you, I, and anyone else that joins in, is clear on what is exactly happening.
“I understand, what is yours, is yours. You don’t have to worry about that line getting crossed. I respect you for what you ‘and your team’ created and I will never take that from you. “ ... A mantra to tell yourself and others you work with, on their idea.
Once you say it, expect that they will hold you to your word. Hold yourself accountable to follow through on your word.
Then when in a moment of questionable actions, you will think back to your word.
If you have to question yourself, then you probably shouldn't be doing what you are about to do.
Professionalist-

4.) Is driven by curiosity and the thirst to be the best they can be, not by ego and/or pride.
5.)Does not make excuses for themselves or others and when critiqued, they listen with open ears, heart and mind.
6.) Selfless.
7.) Holds no grudges.
8.) Communicates until their is a mutual understanding and does not belittle, to be understood.
9.) A natural leader; one that inspires people to be their best.
10.) Knows a little bit about everything and knows when to allow others to share their knowledge with you.
Reserve time.
However amount of time you specify. During that time, you will not make any other commitments, take phone calls, check social media, etc.
You are singularly focused on the task at hand.
