Sebastian strode into the small house that he and Shum lived in at the botanical gardens. "Medical is coming to get us. There has been a plague outbreak and they think we have been exposed. Max and Daniel both have it but they are going to be fine."

"And, with my-- issue, not having access to the ink could be bad."

Sebastian nodded. "It could be worse than that. Shadow Plague is one of the few things the Ink can carry. And it can make your magic vanish. I know you don’t have all of your mom’s Ink, just the little bit that found you the night your mom died, but if it is at all infected, that could be bad, it could destroy the ink."

He nodded. Sebastian had gotten so used to the bird he didn’t even think about it anymore. "Tıbbi, Medical are going to locate to just outside. It’s even hard for Daniel to locate here. Once we are out of here, I’m going to set the house on moon wash and then we are going into quarantine. If we don’t have it, we’ll be let out in a couple hours."

He nodded and they grabbed the few things they wanted to take to quarantine. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. When they opened the door there was a beautiful woman hidden by a veil. She smiled through the magic garment and held out her hand for Shum. "Welcome to the Tıp Kızları" She greeted him with her hands pressed together. "Your friend Daniel is waiting for you, as is another child about your age."

He nodded and took her hand. "Will my bird be ok?" He petted the bird, the raven croaked.

"He will be fine. We can wash him and he will be as good as new." She smiled. "He is ink, correct?"

"Yes, I am." The Raven said. "My master cannot speak well. So I am his voice."

"Then, yes, you should be fine, Kuzgun." She smiled. "Neither you nor your master need worry, you are not the first Ink animals to ever come in here. Nor are you the only ones to get sick."

"Good, then I will abide."

Shum was led to his own room where he was seen to, and his Raven was seen to separately, while he could still speak, he had to be separated from Shum for a short time so that he could be allowed to heal.
