It’s May 25th, 2020, and tomorrow is the End of the World. The problem is, no one on Earth has any clue, and fortunately for them they never will.
Well, almost no one.
When Derby Dunn woke up on the very first May 25th, 2020, he went through the motions of his moderately normal life, just as he had the day before, and the 7278 days before that. And when he went to bed after a long, boring day, there was no question in his mind that tomorrow would come, and be equally lackluster.
But tomorrow never came. When Derby Dunn woke up on the second May 25th, 2020, it took him half the day before he realized something was off. But the moment he did, everything changed.
Derby Dunn lived for six hundred and thirty-three May 25th, 2020s before the ripples of this glitch finally drew the attention of another blue-collared type, observing and protecting the assets of a Multi-Galactic Corporation known as Turba Supra Inc., a well-known research company with deep ties within the Intergalactic Slave Trade.
You see, Tullus (known as Earth by many of its sentient population), was supposed to be destroyed by a Comet that was thrown off course. The Ultima Centuriate, a coalition of over one hundred and fifty Sentient Races spread across our Universe, was forced to employ the Q Directive once they realized that the final Sentient Race in Earth’s Solar System was about to experience an Extinction Level Event; the Solar System’s Sun was converted into a White Hole, which froze time into an infinite loop for the rest of eternity.
Because the Tullusians had not evolved into a Space-Faring Race, their place in the Universal Committee of Sentience was forfeit. Immediately, the rights to scientific observation and study were set to Auction, and the Human Species was acquired by Turba Supra.
Of course, Derby Dunn like the rest of Humanity was under the impression that he was utterly alone in the Universe.

A Space Opera of Epic Proportions, this story will follow a mediocre Human as he discovers the Ultimate Truths of the Great Beyond, a Martian Researcher torn between his job and the greater good, and a Mild, Middle Management Associate who works for the Evilest Corporation in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, literally. A Sci-Fi Adventure with a heavy focus on melodrama and the occasional, exceptionally dry humor.
