Chapter 1 a glitch is found

Tommy Baker awoke to the high tone ringing of his alarm, that’s weird Tommy thought my alarm is never that high pitch. Tommy glance at his alarm clock as he went to turn it off, that’s when he saw it the hands on the clock had stopped moving while every number on the clock face had turned into a collection of mini number like the ones tommy sees during his binary class at school. His mum called up’’ tommy come on or you will be late for school’’, that’s when tommy awoke again. Was that all a dream tommy thought no it can’t be as it was so real i knew it was, I was awake wasn’t I. just then tommy mum called again ‘’ tommy get down here now I won’t tell you again’’ . ‘’ coming mum’’ tommy yelled down the stairs. With that tommy was off to school however that dream tommy had stayed with him all day. The school day went as normal 2 hours of logic class before break then an hour of pe as normal it was the assault course, tommy never knew why the school had such a big budget for the assault course but hardly any for maths and english which was barely on the school’s curriculum. After lunch the day ended with 2 hours of binary class where tommy learn that it is possible to create an small object like a alarm clock with binary on a computer. However it was on the walk home that tommy leant that his dream was real, as tommy pass a frene like he does every day he notice something off about it. As tommy approached the fence for feather inspection he found that it was not wood that the fence was made of but yet the same numbers he saw on his alarm clock this morning. Amazed at what he has found tommy rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing things right, that’s when he heard the voices. ‘’Sir we have a glitch here the damn fence is acting up again’’ a voice from the sky seems to say. ‘’Well fit it that’s what you are being paid for isn’t it’’ a more anger voice seems to say. Confused and startled that this tommy wants to rub but he finds himself not able to move instead the hears his own voice starting to call out ‘’hello can you hear me up there’’ tommy waits but hears now reply. Tommy turns to look back in front of him and that’s when he sees a man standing right in front of him, as if he came out from thin air. Starled tommy falls backwards, that’s when the man says ‘’ you ok there boy, not hearing voices are ya’’. The man looks at tommy with a concerned look, that’s when tommy says ‘’ n n no sir i’m fine’’ with that tommy gets up and walks away as fast as he can go. If only tommy had stopped and looked back he would see the man turn into code and then vanished just like he appear into thin air. Still in shock from his encounter tommy arrives home and rushed straight to his room without even noticing that his mum was just standing there not moving. For 3 whole hours tommy thought about what he had just seen and heard and compared with this moning. It is at that moment that tommy comes to a realization about his mum, as he did see her just standing there not moving but he chose to ignore it. Just as tommy was about to go back downstairs to see if his mum was ok, he was suddenly  drawn to the window. Not knowing why tommy looked outside that’s when he saw it the whole town was made of numbers just like binary and all the people were not moving not evening making a sound, just then tommy was starting to freak out that’s when he heard the voices again.’’ ok people lets get this game back online, we only have 2 days until the board comes down here to cheek on our process’’.  That’s when it hit tommy, at first he did not want to believe it as how could he, to say that is world is a video game is unreasonable. However based on what he has seen tommy is in a game, so why is he the only one not affected but the code like everyone else and why can he see and hear these glitches but no one else can. Its that that moment when out of nowhere the voices say ‘’ sir when have another glitch with the same code, what shall we do’’. Tommy freezes as he knows they are talking about him then the more anger voice says ‘’ alright send in the antiviruses’’, it’s that that moment that if tommy wants to get any answers then he will have to fight to get them.
