I can't wait for more! Alex manages to build suspense from chapter to chapter, but that doesn't mean she's holding back. It's a deliberate pacing of unanswered questions and relationships falling into place together, while the reader is left to wonder "What the Hell is happening?" in the best way possible! I had my reservations about reading the first few chapters of a horror novel, expecting that it would follow the slow burn format popular in the genre, but there's payoff in the very first chapter! If you're reading this review, you'd be better off just reading this book already- preorder now, you won't regret it.
