Em-barking on a New Journey

Muffin was a shy dog who liked routine. Every day, she went on a walk with her friends. But one day, a big truck came and packed up all of Muffin’s belongings. Then, it took her and her owners to a new home.

Muffin did not like change. She missed her friends and thought of them often. She wanted to go on walks with them and share her owner’s homemade biscuits like they used to.

Then, one day, a new group of dogs showed up to take her on a walk. Muffin was uncertain about going, but she went because her owner really wanted her to.

The group was made up of a feisty beagle, a big, scary Dalmatian, a small, fluffy puppy, and a wild, red lab with a lot of energy. Muffin was afraid she wouldn’t fit in, but she tried her best to make friends with the group.

(The story continues on to tell of the adventures the group of dogs have together. With every adventure, their friendship grows until the dogs become the best of friends.)
