Those of you who aren’t on Twitter missed this announcement last night.

Ugh Jamie I’m on my phone I don’t want to click stuff give me the TLDR version.

It’s a blog post offering an explanation of an engine Inkshares is rolling out, which serves to select manuscripts for a new imprint called Blink. Traditionally, Inkshares manuscripts have reached publication by way of crowdfunding, aka selling 750 preorders.

I’m still not at liberty to discuss Things That Are Happening on the properties front, but I can tell you Devil’s Call is going to be the first manuscript published under the Blink imprint.

Preorders are still important, both for my morale and other boring money-related things. This is the last stage in the process where you get to purchase a signed first edition copy of Devil’s Call without having to go to a book signing or a convention or any of the other various panic attack-inducing events that are going to be going on next summer.
