Volgograd Russia, January 1920

The local Chairman, Joseph Stalin, will not wait. Defying direct orders from Moscow he recalls forces from the Caucasus. They are still near enough to begin a rear assault on the White Army growing impatient in their watchfulness. The battle is swift and sudden. The Red Army has retaken the city. It is a brilliant move.  The city is back in the hands of the new guard. The defeated making their way brokenly towards the Crimean peninsula.
