Thanks again to everyone for supporting and following A Friend for Otter!

Today marks the end of the first third of our campaign, and we are only 17 preorders away from reaching our light publishing (or Quill) goal! This will mean the realization of Sylvia’s dream to become a published author—and of mine to help her. If you have not already, please consider pre-ordering today. And please share with others who might be inspired by what we are doing. We believe strongly in the power of adults sharing a love of reading with young people, and we think our story empowers adults and children to share (and create) something truly magical together.

Also, to celebrate the campaign’s 1/3 milestone today, we have posted another chapter for you to preview. Chapter 2 ~ Escape, follows Otter’s daring escape from the Home and into the world outside. If she can just get to the Junkton’s distant perimeter, she’ll be free. But the shortest distance between two points isn’t always a straight line.
