Chapter 14 Food and rest

He was still asleep as she lay there staring at him. She thought “I slept next to him for the whole night, I never do that. Normally I move to the other side of the bed to sleep because I want my space but last night, for the whole night I slept in his arms. Does true Love really exist? I started to believe it was just an elusive emotion? Maybe I have finally found it.”

His eyes opened to see her staring at him and said, “Good Morning, did you sleep well?”

“If you only knew,” she said. “What?” “I'll explain some other time. Yes, I slept well, and you?”

“Like a baby, with you in my arms.”

They moved closer together to feel the love after their first night together in so many years. She was a little nervous as many questions raced through her mind. What were they going to do all day? Is he a morning person? Does he eat when he first wakes up? She didn't know what to expect but she knew one thing for sure. She felt a peace and love with him that she had never felt with anyone else.

She snuggled up and said, “Are you hungry? You haven’t eaten much since you’ve arrived.”

He pressed his head to hers with a happy smile on his face. “Hungry? Yes, hungry for you,” in a playful voice as he kissed her.

True, he had not eaten much, not society normal food but he had been enjoying the best nectar and juices Mother Nature can provide from Debra Lynn.

She smiled playfully and worked her way out of his arms and said, “You need to eat. This is only day one of fourteen. I cannot let you get worn out on day one, can I?”

“Me being depleted and wasting away wouldn’t do you any good. Would it? So my mouth awaits the food you will rain down on me,” he said with a smile. Thankfully, there was a plate of fruit and sparkling water her friends had put on the night stand, for such an occasion. She poured a huge glass of water for them to share. Randy had a very unique way of eating fruit that Debra Lynn enjoyed.this is the first time we see this.

He would place the fruit in his teeth, then she would bite off the half of the fruit that was not in his mouth, and finally they would eat it as they kissed. She liked doing this so much that she crawled out of bed and into the tent to find more fruit for him to feed her. His fruit eating technique even made her eat fruit that she normally wouldn't eat. They were like a couple of kids in candy store. It made them feel young and alive. Alive in the way you always dream about but somehow you can never find the magic necessary to make it happen. It was so romantic. But as she was learning, in Randyland, everything is wonderful.
