The excerpt from Blood Dawn grabbed me right from the first chapter through to the end. This is epic fantasy at its finest, and it deserves a place on any bookshelf, where it'd be right at home next to other great tales in that genre, such as The Death Gate Cycle, the early books of The Wheel of Time, and The Phoenix Guards. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
