This is the fantasy genre taken to new levels...we're immediately thrust into a sword fight between two seemingly unknown combatants. There's brilliant descriptions of moonlight flickering on swirling blades, lithe bodies swooping and darting, parrying and thrusting...emerald eyes glistening, taut rippling muscles behind tight outfits...all the ingredients of a  swashbuckling adventure...and THEN...and THEN good reader...we escalate...and now the swords and combatants are endowed with supernatural control over their senses and weapons...swords elongate...metal liquifies and spirals into alternative shapes...and then...the weapons are no longer sentient...but with a mind of their own but still under their masters control!  

And now we learn that our heroic duo,  Luna and Claymore know each other...and the battle continues to the death? No! Because again the stakes escalate as they go right to the edge, both mentally and physically on the roof top that is their battlefield...and the eventual winner holds the loser to ransom...for data! 

And so Kelsey has taken a standard genre piece and kicked it in the throat and forced it to speak in the tongues of Sci-Fi and otherworldly sword and sorcery!  I've pre-ordered my copies, I suggest you all do the same...this one is a cut n' thrust above the rest!
