Everything seems perfectly normal. Perhaps even too normal. Dull, in fact. That all ends when those responsible for controlling the things that go dump in the night and holding the dark things at bay are stopped in their quest. 

This is a world that is so rich, steeped in old magic and ancient traditions. The characters are compelling and riveting. I can't wait for more in this series.
