Greetings, folks. It’s time for another selection! Anybody have any ideas?
Elanprof sq Elan Samuel · Reader · added about 7 years ago
Hiya!

We’re nearing our monthly deadline for choosing the next book to back. This time, we’re going after an already-available book. Here’s what we’re looking at:

1. Asteroid Made of Dragons
2. It’s All Fun and Games
3. Monkey Business

My personal order of preference is 2, 1, 3. How would y’all feel about backing It’s All Fun and Games?
Elanprof sq Elan Samuel · Reader · added about 7 years ago
Alrighty. That’s one vote from each of you for each of the books. I’ll roll a die and we’ll choose the winner.
1-2: Cape’s Side Bay
3-4: Proxy
5-6: They are the Last

Looks like we’re going with Proxy!

It looks like we have a winner :)
Vvrmleq2 Whoa · Author · added about 7 years ago
I’m happy to go for They are the Last.

I’ll add a second vote for They are the Last.

Vvrmleq2 Whoa · Author · edited about 7 years ago
I’d like to read Proxy.
Elanprof sq Elan Samuel · Reader · added about 7 years ago
Alright, team. Let’s put it to a vote, shall we?

2. Proxy

Noteworthy: only Cape’s Side Bay has achieved quill. Perhaps that’ll sway your votes. My personal vote is for They are the Last.

How about Cape’s Side Bay? I’m on an 80s kick at the minute, after watching Stranger Things, and this has a similar vibe to it.

Hey, friends! It’s time to pick our "off month" book to support. This’ll be a funding project, not an available book. I’m happy to take suggestions from you all. Let’s get talking!

Welcome @J. Graham-Jones ! If you click on the book above, that’ll take you to the page where you can buy it direct from Inkshares. There’s also a list of other retailers on that page, if you prefer to buy it elsewhere.

Hello all! How do I go about getting hold of this months book? Looking forward to getting stuck in.

None here. :)

Seems like we have a consensus! This month, we’ll go with The Battle for Oz.

Any final objections before I click "go"?
Dsc 4986 1 C. Brennecke · Author · added about 7 years ago
I’m with Rafferty once again :)
Vvrmleq2 Whoa · Author · added about 7 years ago
I’d be happy with 3 or 4
Elanprof sq Elan Samuel · Reader · added about 7 years ago
Alrighty then. Given the new entries/y’alls opinions. Here’s my new list. Go ahead and let me know if you like the idea of reading The Show, friends!

1. The Show
2. Monkey Business
3. Ageless
4. The Battle for Oz
5. AMOD
6. Abomination

I’d like to add Abomination and The Show to that list as those are two I haven’t picked up yet.  I already have read AMOD (one of my favorite books of all time actually), am reading Ageless, and Monkey Business is already on my shelf waiting in the wings.
Of those listed so far, I’d probably put my vote behind Battle for Oz.

Dsc 4986 1 C. Brennecke · Author · added about 7 years ago
I’ll second that.
Vvrmleq2 Whoa · Author · added about 7 years ago
Ageless seems very intriguing to me but I’m happy to go with the majority :)

@Amanda Orneck, @Duncan Rafferty, @C. Brennecke:

I’d love to make the decision for this month by the end of the week. Let’s put it to a vote. Here’s mine:

1. Monkey Business (This comes with a content/language warning.)
2. The Battle for Oz
3. Asteroid Made of Dragons (Also, language/content warning)
4. Ageless
Elanprof sq Elan Samuel · Reader · added about 7 years ago
Excellent! I’m currently reading Monkey Business, and would be glad to go with that one.

I’ve read the rest, and would be equally glad to do any of them.

I’d like to nominate these books:
Ageless
Monkey Business
The Battle for Oz
Asteroid Made of Dragons

I’m thrilled that you’ve joined the syndicate, friends! Let’s talk about the first book we want to talk about, shall we?
