This coming Thursday (Dec 8th) Eudaimonia will have been out in the world (officially) for a whole month!
Thank you so much to all of the folks who came out to our little launch party on Nov 12th. Truly, it was such a nice bow to top this whole experience.
And THANK YOU for all of your nice text messages, comments, and reviews! I am beyond pleased with the feedback that I have gotten from those of you who have read Eudaimonia. The fear, the worry, the white-knuckle anxiety of putting a piece of yourself in the world for everyone to judge seems like a recipe for insanity. (She spent five years on this?! *disdainful incredulity*) The only hope after it is out there is simply not to humiliate yourself. Based on early reviews, I think I have averted utter humiliation. *whew*
For those of you that have already read Eudaimonia would you please consider rating/reviewing it on Goodreads & Amazon? (It really gives Mr. Godwin something to look forward to, as he checks these sites daily.)
Thank you, again, to all the folks who have already read and reviewed Eudaimonia. Reviews help. There are more books coming out than people can possibly read. For those of you who haven’t read it yet, do not worry. I am a very slow reader and have piles of books around my house that "I’m meaning to get to." Whenever you get to Eudaimonia is a perfect time. I appreciate that it is even in your world sitting on a shelf or an e-reader somewhere.
Also, please keep Eudaimonia in mind as you are looking for stocking stuffers and holiday gifts. Books are always an excellent gift :)

Well, folks, the time is nigh!
I have heard from a reliable little birdie that the e-books for Eudaimonia will be pushed out about two weeks ahead of the publication date. For those of you not counting, that could be as soon as Tuesday 10/25! It sounds like the print books will be shipped the first week of November.
So, make sure your mailing and email addresses are updated!

Hello, hello!
We are 23 days from the publication date! This is the part that feels like the twelve days of Christmas. Every day there is another little gift to happen upon; bookmarks, digital ads, and some very early reviews. I just saw and approved the e-book version of Eudaimonia. Some of you have even sent me screenshots of your Amazon order updating the expected delivery date. We are in the end game now!
I wanted to take a moment to once again say thank you. When I embarked on this fever dream five years ago, I did not know what to expect. But one of the things that most surprised me was how easily you all said, "yes." Your "yes" (e-book purchase, retweet, supportive comment, etc.) has changed my life. I know, I know, Lord, Meghan, could you be any more cheesy? (for the record, yes, so be impressed; this is me showing restraint.) But "yes" from folks across every facet and season of my life changed the way I thought about myself and what I could do. Knowing that other people believe you are capable of something can be a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. We have now reached the weird part that I am very bad at. It will only devolve into misty, heartfelt nods. So, I’m going to stop here and say: thank you.
For those of you in and around the Greenville area, we will be having a party Saturday, November 12. I tried to pull out all the local backers and invite you individually, but, if you haven’t seen the e-vite yet, I probably did a bad job or it may have gotten lost in the ether of the internet. Internet and other idiocies aside, this whole publication business wouldn’t have happened without your "yes". This little party is a small way for me to say thank you to your wonderful faces. I hope to see you there.

Y’all, it is cranking up! I’m not sure if you can hear it, but there is a faint click-click-clicking sound in the background. Like the sound a roller coaster makes before you crest the first big drop. That is where we are on this publishing journey, the slow-clicking accent before the thrilling drop on the publication date.
Eudaimonia’s publication date is Tuesday, November 8th. It is now listed (for pre-order) on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. And you can add it to your "want to read" list in GoodReads.
Eudaimonia is also listed on IndieBound, which is a website that directs you to independent local bookstores near you. There is a link on IndieBound where you can purchase a book online through "Bookshop." If you want to buy Eudaimonia in a local bookstore, request it. Independent bookstores are small businesses and books are their inventory. They generally keep on hand what they know will sell and monitor requests to see if there is something else they should start carrying.
So, Meghan, what about us? The folks who pre-ordered?
