So, I wrote a book during NaNoWriMo in 2016, and I’ve been editing that and making it perfect because I actually didn’t hate it. 

Then I came back to Maw and reread it. And, of course, decided to do a massive rewrite. So, I’m hoping to update this more often now that I think I may or may not be on the right path for what (I think) I had originally intended. 

I posted my new/revised/revamped first chapter, if you want to gander at it, like a goose. Or not. You do you, man.

Oh, kay, so. I just got to 115K words.

(Hold for applause.) 

Yes, yes, thank you. NOW. I need YOU to pretty please pre-order a paperback (or e-book) and I’ll avoid both alliterations and parentheses in the future if you like. Or, maybe, if you want to know MORE about the novel, I can field questions. Or if you want MORE novel, you can say, "HEY. YOU. WITH THE LAPTOP AND STUPID HIPSTER GLASSES DRINKING CHAI TEA IN THE BACK CORNER OF STARBUCKS. Give me MORE story!"

And I’ll say, "HEY. I don’t drink chai tea; this is hot chocolate. HERE have some story!" Thus giving you, the reader, more story to, you know, read. 

Or maybe you’re in this contest as well, and you’re all "No ma’am, can’t support my competition." And you’re right. I get it. That’s totes okay.
