Well ... things have stalled out a bit with preorders and we are still a bit short of our 250 needed for publication. If the idea of a female ’Indiana Jones type’ searching for treasure in the South Pacific with a rascally ex-pat seaplane pilot appeals to you, then jump aboard with a preorder to make this book really happen!

"Wings of the Pirate" is a completed novel that has been polished countless times and is ready to hand over to the Publisher once we reach our 250 preorder goal. My good friend & Artist, Al Bringas has already done over 20 illustrations and will be finishing up the rest shortly. If all goes well, you should have your copy of the book early in the spring of 2017.
Now is the time to jump in with a preorder! It would be fantastic if everyone who follows the project grabs an ebook or goes for the special 1st edition, autographed ’Hardcover’ (a rarity for Authors in the world of ebook & paperback), then we would be at our goal in no time. A thousand apologies for the lack of updates on this page - but work on the novel and other things has had my full attention. Work is going very well, and each day brings me one day closer to completing the manuscript and having the finished book delivered into your hands.
I’ll be delivering a speech tomorrow on my personal experiences (both writing the novel, and working through Inkshares) and I am hoping to have some video from the event to post to the book’s Inkshares page. Also, more artwork (including a final cover!) is on the way, so never fear - there’s plenty more eye-candy left on the relatively*-near horizon.
I’m also going to eventually get around to uploading a handful of new chapters - though the time frame for this continues to change. If you haven’t read through what’s currently available, I implore you to check my stuff out. I’m quite happy with the quality of the posted chapters~
Greetings, my wonderful readers. I have two bits of news for you.
First, Rise was sent to the printer 27 minutes before the writing of this update (assuming Girl Friday sent it at the time they scheduled it; always potential for a hiccup). Wow. It’s, literally, out of my hands now.
Second, on the same day a Canadian distributor bought 127 copies! I mean, the day couldn’t get any better could it?

It’s pre-production preorder phase ends next Sunday, the 16th of July. After that, the sweet deal to get the ebook and hard copy in one order changes to individual orders.
