First of all, I would like to mention I am making progress with the work so that when we do go to pre-order, no one will have to wait that long to receive their copy, which is neat.
Second of all, I would like to thank all the new followers to The Sleeping Man! Unless one is already published, this type of work can get really hard, so to have support makes me keep pushing because I want to do a good job.
Third of all, I bet most of you are wondering what to get me for my birthday, which is... right now. Thirty-one years ago at the moment of writing this I emerged from the woods fully grown. Oh, what's that? You didn't get me anything? Well, if you are reading this, you already did and it's worth more than I can say. Since I'm greedy though, all I want this year from all of the readers of The Sleeping Man is to find me just one more reader. Then we'll be near the 250 mark and then we'll reopen pre-orders.
Sweet Dreams,
Stephen
Hello readers. Well, we've soared past 600 orders, excellent! Very excited to release a new chapter of the book for you to enjoy, check that out on the project page. We are in the home stretch, and I'll be posting my screenwriting tips starting tomorrow. Hopefully you'll find them interesting and educational, and incentive to order if you haven't done so already (I see plenty of followers who haven't actually ordered yet, join in friends! We only have three more weeks left.)
As a reminder, all hardback orders come with a signed Felicia Day headshot. I couldn't be more grateful for her support for my novel. Her willingness to promote this project I've worked three years of my life on is quite wonderful. We are all lucky to have such a kind friend.
Hope you enjoy the new novel excerpt and the screenwriting tips I'll be releasing starting tomorrow. The finish line is nigh!
Pat
Dear readers,
Something very big is coming for supporters of Blood Dawn! In particular, everyone who became a Dragon or a God-King -- all 35 of you! -- I'm planning something fun for the last push to get 399 pre-orders before April 11th.
Stay tuned. If you're dying of curiosity, feel free to email me and I'll give you a hint:
A bit of humor to brighten up a slow Thursday, relevant because it could totally apply to responses to the pestering emails and social media posts I've sent out regarding FEYSIDE!
