When technology allows man’s inner nature to be holographicaly projected as animal features, humanity has divided between Predator and Prey. When the penal ship Proper is marooned on a distant planet, the galaxy’s most savage must work together.

"When technology allows man’s inner nature to be holographicaly projected as animal features, humanity has divided between Predator and Prey." Clever concept and an author whose own story is worth reading!

The Astronaut Instruction Manual–#1 in Books on Product Hunt

Happy Monday, another victory! This weekend, The Astronaut Instruction Manual made it to #1 for the day on ProductHunt.

ProductHunt is where lots of people learn of awesome new products that make life better.
Here’s the link. Feel free to upvote!

(Of course I tweeted about it too. RT’s help too!)

Another fun thing that happened this weekend: I got my first autograph request for a signed photo–from 6-year old Benjamin in Austin, TX. How cool is that! It’s on its way and wow am I HONORED. #blush.

Thanks for letting me share the good news and keep up the good work,

Billy O’Keefe liked an update for Transilience

This is it. The final day.

I’d like to thank everyone who supported Transilience.

This campaign has afforded me an opportunity to meet some very generous souls. Not only with their money. But their time. And their advice.

I have learned a great deal over the past three months. About myself. About my novel. About how to move forward.

In the short term, the plan is to try and hoodwink an agency or a publisher into picking up Transilience. In the long term, I will always keep my options open. I will continue to lurk on this site. Perhaps another contest will come along for which Transilience is ideally suited.

I have no idea what life on Inkshares is like after a campaign, but I am fairly confident I can keep Transilience up here as a draft.

I will also devote more time to my blog, Skid Rogue Haven. If you have enjoyed my updates here, perhaps you will enjoy whatever it is that appears on the pages of that site. :)

Thank you again, one and all. Due to the nature of our collective acquaintances, I can only ever use words to describe my gratitude, and I fear words alone can not do the feeling justice. You are all wonderful people.

    Cheers,

    Kev
