S.E. Soldwedel commented on Disintegration

We're almost at 50 copies. I joined the contest on September 8th. Books 1 - 15 show up on the Nerdist Contest front page. The 15th has 95 readers, as of this writing. If you could each get just one additional person to pre-order my book, I would be that much closer the top-15 after only a week of being the contest.

That initial copy, with the credits that Inkshares offers, can be picked up at no-cost to a new Inkshares user. Please impress that upon your networks. I've been shilling hard for the books I believe in and people are buying them: Ghosts of War, Single Version, She is the End, God in the Shed ... the list goes on. So many worthy titles. I believe in them. I want to see us all succeed.

While it's going to take some serious generosity for Disintegration to make a real dent, I will take any and all orders. Those one-copy orders are how I've gotten within touching distance of 15th place after less than a week (or not, I misperceived copies vs. actual readers, so my enthusiasm was bit premature, but still) ... so, let's keep chipping ... chip and chip, piece-by-piece, just like Andy Dufresne in Shawshank, until we break through, and break out.

I appreciate your support. I believe in this story, and I hope that you do, too, because I need your belief to pique the interest of your friends, of people you know would like this book.

I'd need a real boost to break the top-5, and even the top-10. But that first page of titles in the Nerdist Contest is right there, with in reach. Let's have Disintegration crash the party. Let's get my book into the top-15.

Let's take the underdog story up to where the big dogs are.

This book will be so engrossing. It deserves to be in print, in your hands, while you sit somewhere, alone, with a hot cup of coffee when it's cold outside.
