Right now, the book is sitting on 3rd place, but with so much time left, that could easily change! Local fundraising has been going strong, but I've unfortunately not extended the same oversight to my followers online and elsewhere. I'd like to remind everyone who has yet to pre-order a copy of the story that the book is still part of my "Amazon Gift-Card Raffle" which entitles one lucky winner to a $250.00 gift card to Amazon, with the drawing to be held on the 15th of January. Every purchase of one or more copies of my book enters you for a chance to win this wonderful prize! 

My current goal for the book is to clear 100 unique sales before the end of the contest. I think is more than doable, but it requires everyone who is the following the book, but has yet to purchase a copy, to pre-order now! I've recently updated the page with several new chapters, edits, and descriptions, so go over and give the page and the samples a look, and lend me your support so we can guarantee The Children of the Forest a publishing deal!

We still haven't hit the threshold for Chapter 6 section 1 to be uploaded, so instead I've uploaded the final section of Chapter 1 for book 2, Exile, Hunted.  Go ahead and click the link to read that if you want, though I will warn you that there are major spoilers now that the full chapter has been posted.

I'm going to still try to get another update typed today recommending some other great books.  In the meantime if you haven't ordered Exile, Magus you should.  Only 26 days left now.
