Jason Pomerance liked an update for The Seventh Age: Dawn

Greetings everyone! It’s time for some quick... seriously bad-ass news.

Okay; maybe not that bad-ass. It’s actually just an actual booth number for Emerald City Comic Con next week.

DD11.

So if you live in Seattle and want to meet up or happen to attend the con. Let me know. Metal and Drinks will commence.

In other things. Reviews. The book has only come out a month ago from now, but in order for Amazon (or the internet) to functionally count it as an ACTUAL book... I’ve got to hit a certain threshold of reviews. (That’s 100 for those who count. I’ve got 10...) Even if you hated the book, that’s okay. Just... if you support the IDEA of authors writing books... take 5 minutes and leave a review on one of these platforms:

Audbile (For you Audio blokes out there): Click HERE

Amazon (For those who wish to feed into the belly of the beast): Click HERE

Goodreads (For those who are cunning enough to copy and paste a review from Amazon): Click HERE

As always, you can follow me or find me on Twitter @CrankyBolt and I’ll have additional written content for everyone in a few months. I’ve already got a short story about Akira done, but I’m waiting till more people finish the book before I get there.

Do you guys think I should try a video update? Let me know.

~Rick.

Jason Pomerance liked an update for An Unattractive Vampire

    Hey there Adventureketeers!

A quick update before I delve back into the depths of grad schooliness to let you know that An Unattractive Vampire is Audible’s Daily Deal. For the rest of today (Tuesday February 21st) (2017) The Unattractive Audiobook is only $3.95. Why that’s less than $4.95! (I think...I’m in school for writing, not math.) That’s an entire book--hours of entertainment--for less money than three songs on iTunes. Just the thing for road trips down desolate, lonely roads whose secrets are buried deep from all but the unluckiest outsiders. Nothing says "ignore the feeling that the woods/desert/endless void is watching you with a vampire comedy read by a soothing British voice.

Jason Pomerance liked an update for Sync City

      Greetings Jackolytes,

The exciting word on the street is that Sync City is now being shipped, and Jack is soon to be out in the wild! If you have pre-ordered a paperback, then you should receive an email from Inkshares telling you the details. From what I can work out, they’re doing it alphabetically according to the name you used when registering with Inkshares. So if you are later in the alphabet, you may not have received the email yet.

If you want a little more information about me and the book, Sync City’s homepage is here. You can also follow my author’s Facebook page here.

If you haven’t jumped on to the Sync City express, then you can do so at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Book Depository. and don’t forget to share!

      Cheers,

      Peter

Jason Pomerance liked an update for Devil’s Call

        Friends!

        Quick but exciting update:

Devil’s Call went to the copy editor (the lovely Jessica Gardner) this morning, a mere two months later than we originally thought it would, and the word on the street is I should have her comments in a week or so, assuming there isn’t something terribly wrong lurking in the manuscript somewhere.

The next step after copy editing is proofreading. I will update y’all when that happens.

In the meantime, those of you who have attempted to place orders and been unable to, the site recently went through an overhaul and the order page is functional again.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me and this project for as long as you have. A year ago, this thing was 75 pages long and begging for an overhaul. As of this morning, it’s around 200 pages and actually, you know. Looks like a novel. If it weren’t for all of your support, that wouldn’t have happened.

        - J.

Jason Pomerance liked an update for Murder at the Veterans’ Club

          Dear friends and followers,

I’m still around. Things are quiet with "Murder at the Veterans’ Club" right now: we’re still waiting for an editor. In the meantime, my current project with Choice Of Games is keeping me occupied.

I’d like to draw your attention, though, to a couple of other projects currently funding on Inkshares:

          1) "Love, Derric", by Jason Pomerance. I’m currently about 80% of the way through Pomerance’s first novel with Inkshares, "Women Like Us", and I’d say he has a pretty good feel for the nuances of human relationships and the humour therein. "Love, Derric" is a true story about a rescued beagle, and I expect to see the same sort of humour and nuance in the relationships developing around the dog and his new owners/rescuers. Anyone who’s had a dog or loved a dog is certain to indentify with the story.

          2) "Wake Up Call", by J.T.R. Russell. This one presents a world in which the deities of ancient mythologies are still knocking around; our protagonist is a normal human being working in an antique shop owned by one of these mythical deities, though we’re not sure which one. The tone is very humorous, and I expect to come out of this laughing.

There are a lot of projects happening on Inkshares, always. So, until next time: keep reading, and have fun.

Jason Pomerance sent an update for Love, Derric: My Journey From Laboratory Experiment to Freagle (who eats burritos at the beach)

Hi! It’s me, Studious Derric! Stay tuned for some updating from Dad about the book.

Hey! Jason here. First, apologies for the delay in updating but between marketing chores on Women Like Us, putting the finishing touches on a follow-up novel and hatching the plot to get it published (more traditional route on this one), other work duties and, well, life, finding time for Derric’s book has been a little challenging. But the good news is most of the writing work on Novel 2 is just about done and now I can focus on helping Derric get his story out.

One thing I’ll have to do, however, is request an extension from Inkshares for the campaign. I just didn’t leave enough time for this. Hopefully that won’t be an issue. Do always keep in mind that if for whatever reason the book doesn’t hit it’s funding goal, you’re pre-order will be refunded. So thanks for your patience, early supporters, and more to come soon!

             Love, Derric (and Jason)
